Artist's Note:
This fearless little person is the child of a tree, a large baobab I was painting some years ago. I was working on the lower branches mingling with some undergrowth when I noticed what looked like a figure stepping boldly to the left.
I kept a record of it and later rediscovered it, leading to a little sketch. Which led to a painting. Which led to a bigger painting.
Which is why it's number 3.
