Artist's Note:
I came across this amazing boat in a photo essay one day, and was compelled to use it in a painting, but it needed something equally unique to live with. For no reason that I can recall the idea of it being towed through the sky by a jellyfish came to mind.
And that jellyfish still lurks about in more recent paintings.
