Cymatic Procession
Giclee prints on canvas
The Romans had a large horn called a buccina which was used for signaling in battle. It wasn't as large as I've rendered it here and of course it was used for war and I've repurposed it for creation. But as here it was one long tube with no finger holes or buttons, played as one plays a bugle which it's the ancestor of.
The blast of strange creatures was the obvious subject matter, like the mythical sound from which all things spring. Thus Cymatics.
